Biography

Maria Samara, MA-SFMT, FAMI, is a music therapist (Master of Arts in Music Therapy, NYU) and a Guided Imagery and Music (GIM) Fellow. She has 19 years of working experience, working with people of all ages, in psychiatric and medical settings, special schools, rehabilitation centres, homes for the elderly, as well as in private practice in New York, Greece and now in Switzerland. She is an Ordinary Member of the Swiss Association for Music Therapy (SFMT) and a member of the Association for Music and Imagery (AMI).
